I’ve compiled a list of about 233 verses in the King James Bible which include the word “faith“, including the ones which include “the faith“. I plan to do a study of those verses. Interestingly only two verses containing the word “faith” are in the Old Testament. It might be because of the difference between Hebrew and Greek. Of course, off the top of my head, I can think of verses in the Old Testament which use the word “trust“. There are other synonyms (like confidence, believe, and belief) as well. We’ll get to those later.
In order to keep Cambridge University Press happy I need to add a disclaimer here. This post is incomplete. I will be adding commentary. When done the actual King James Version text will be less than 25% of the total work.
